RUBBER

Rubbers can generally be described as materials with elastic properties. These materials are generally long chain molecules and are known as polymers.

The combination of the elastic feature with the polymer creates the name elastomer. Therefore, it is used synonymously with rubber. Rubber has thermoplastic properties. After being shaped with a mold, it can be softened with heat and molded again. It can be shaped under heat as desired without losing its feature. Rubber is divided into natural and synthetic.
